Care information

How to care for your Coffeenotes products to keep them looking beautiful

Coffeenotes products are produced as sustainably as possible, with minimum use of ink and glue and no plastic wrapping or laminates.

We use premium quality papers and boards for our covers, but these will mark and scuff with use. We see this as part of their charm but to minimise marking, extra care should be taken when packing products in a bag.

Our notepads are designed to be tear-off products, but the pages and backboards will become detached if they are handled roughly.

Many of our products are hand finished and as such there will be slight variations.

A Tactile Delight

I absolutely adore my lay-flat journal and it does exactly what it boasts which means my long search for a left-handed friendly notebook which reduces smudging is over! Paired with quick drying pens which are well handled by the paper, I am back to regular journal practice and get so much comfort from the warm colour and feel of the high quality paper, it really is an investment into a key part of my mental wellness! I will not get a journal from anywhere else now I have had one week of journaling perfection!

Wonderful

Love the paper quality it’s thickness with ink pens, I expected it to the rougher and uneven it’s much smoother, the layout on each page - planners, notebooks etc - has been thought about - the details are faint and don’t dominate the pages. All products are exceptional well made and feel high-end stationary not ‘ex coffee cup trash’!! I love the concept, I shall be going nowhere else for my notebooks and planners

Thank you so much for your kind words. We put a lot of time into the design and manufacturing of our products to take them from the used coffee cups to the finished stationery. The lines and dots we use on the pages are intentioanly light to be a helpful guide but not get in the way of your work.

Seaweed

This is so much more than a notebook!

I know I'm reviewing a notebook, but it feels like so much more important!

The notebook in the hand feels like a real, old-fashioned book - you know, the things we used to read far more than screens.

The sewn spine is gorgeous - it really makes you think about how things were - and sometimes are still - created. I personally love the seaweed inclusions on the cover too. I won't feel sorry when I've finished it, because that will mean I have the chance to look for more of the same.

The fact this stationery is made in Dorset is such a plus too. My ancestors came from Wiltshire & Hampshire, so pretty nearby, so it's extra special for me. :)
