We’re delighted to share the news that we won Sustainable Stationery Product of Year at the Stationery Matters Awards 2022!
The winning product was our Tailor’s Collection Wirobound Notebook – in Navy Wool.
Winners were announced at the ceremony at the London Stationery Show back in May and chosen by an industry panel that included individuals from Hallmark, Papier, V&A, and WHSmith. The awards celebrate the latest and greatest products in the industry.
Announcing the shortlisted nominees, Alex Butler Event Director of the London Stationery Show remarked that the category received the most entries of any category this year.

How is the notebook sustainable?
The Tailor’s Collection is made from repurposed textile waste and upcycled coffee cups. Tweed patterns and wool flecks are styled against cool colours to create a sophisticated, totally unique range.

At Coffeenotes we’re committed to sustainable product design. We've made small, conscious choices to help reduce the product’s impact on the environment:
Plastic free wire. Most wires used in the stationery world are coated in nylon. Instead, we sourced a non-plastic coated alternative – so you can enjoy a plastic free spiral notebook - and easily recycle the whole notebook at home.
No glue in sight! We use a technique called a french fold which removes the need for glue. Simply folding the cover paper in two instead of sticking two separate pieces together = goodbye glue.
- And like all of our products it’s… carbon off-set, made at our family-run factory in Dorset, uses minimal ink and arrives in plastic-free packaging (specifically, repurposed waste from our factory).
We’re over the moon to have our commitment to sustainability recognised by our industry peers as we work hard to create genuinely sustainable stationery; for our customers to enjoy.
